Volunteer Committee Members
Part of the unique structure of a credit union is that it is owned and governed by its membership. Each credit union has a board of directors and various other committees that fulfill different functions within the credit union operation. These committees, such as the supervisory (audit) committee, marketing committee and membership committee are comprised of volunteers from the general membership.
We anticipate some turnover in the coming year on our board of directors and committees and would like to create a pool of members interested in serving. Since our members range from children to seniors, we would like to have a representation from all of our adult age groups, especially our younger tech savvy members. Financial services and their delivery processes are currently changing and we want to be well positioned to navigate the ever changing financial landscape. To do so successfully we need not only a dedicated professional staff, but also a committed group of volunteers serving various functions within the credit union organization.
